Beacon Development Group is pleased to welcome Jamie Madden as our new Senior Housing Developer. Jamie brings a strong foundation in affordable housing development, public policy, and real estate finance, along with experience supporting community-centered projects through strategic advisory work and innovative funding initiatives, including the launch of Washington’s first early learning facilities loan fund and the successful financing of developments such as 95 Lawrence Road.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jamie is an accomplished author whose memoir, Bittersweet Lane: Creating Home(s) in the American Affordable Housing Crisis, reflects a thoughtful, human-centered perspective on housing and, most importantly, he grounds all of his work in his most meaningful role as a dad.
Jamie is already familiar with Beacon Development Group’s impact. When the opportunity to join the team arose, it was an easy decision:
“I jumped at the opportunity to join Beacon Development Group—the professionals who helped create this place I cite as the gold standard in community development. I look forward to being a part of this team that helps communities create homes.”
At Beacon, we are excited to have Jamie join us in advancing our mission of creating high-quality, inclusive housing rooted in community voice and partnership.
