Situated in Seattle’s South Park Urban Village, Cesar Chavez Village is within walking distance of a commercial business district, multiple bus lines, retail and grocery, employment opportunities, and an elementary school. The nearby South Park Community Center offers organized activities for youths and seniors. Sea Mar’s Nursing Care Facility and childcare facility are also immediately adjacent to the project, both of which provide services to residents. Twenty percent of households are set-aside for large families and another twenty percent are set-aside for formerly homeless households.
